Scripture:
Ecclesiastes 4:9-12     Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.

Observation:
This passage of scripture is pretty simple, WE NEED EACH OTHER! Two is better than one, and three is like a fortress. The Bible says that we are the body of Christ and that we all play our parts. One part can't function without the other. Whenever lions hunt they always look for the animal that has strayed away from the group. The Bible says that our adversary the devil prowls like a lion looking for that person who has no fellowship or accountability in their lives.

Application:
I have a new word for you, LONE RANGER! What is a lone ranger? It is someone who has no accountability or fellowship. You know those people who say "It's just me and God". I have been guilty of this in the past, and the reason is because I just wanted to live my life the way I wanted to live it and didn't want to hear anything from anyone. Being accountable to other men in the church has helped me a great deal to overcome. One thing I have learned is that I have to give people permission to be in my business. If I'm acting weird or doing wrong, or if I'm not coming to church, I need to get a phone call or a knock at my door from someone.

Prayer:
Dear Lord, Thank you for my Christian brothers. Thank you for putting men in my life who love me and aren't gonna let me throw my life away. I pray for those that I love who are struggling from lack of accountability and fellowship. Thank you for my salvation, and thank you for making me a new creature in Christ! In Jesus name, Amen!
