The Last Day

Revelation 6:15-17
Then everyone-the kings of the earth, the rulers, the generals, the wealthy, the powerful, and every slave and free person-all hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains. And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb. For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to survive?"

Now... we as Christians understand that the day of Jesus Christ return will be a glorious day. But, according to this scripture, for those who don't believe, it will be a day of wrath. As much as I look forward to the return of Jesus Christ, I am horrified to think what will happen to my family, friends and co-workers who are not born again. The thought of people burning in hell for eternity makes me very scarred! Jesus said this: Matthew 25:30 "Now throw this useless servant into outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

If you are reading this and you are saved, Praise God! But if you don't believe in Jesus, if you don't believe the Bible is true, please listen! There is one thing we can agree on: you and me are both sinners. Your God-given conscience screams out to you every time you do something wrong. You might say "I can't see God, so I don't believe in Him."

Listen to what Romans 1:19-20 says: They know the truth about God because he has made it obvious to them. For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and the sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities... So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

The Good News!
Every man has sinned and fallen short of God's standard. But God has made a way for us to be made right in His eyes. He made a way for us because he is so loving and merciful. God knows that we can never live up to His perfect standard. So... God became a man, Jesus Christ, he walked among the people he created. Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin! And on the 3rd day he rose again and returned to heaven.

The Bible says that if you 1) Repent, that means turn from your sins, and 2) Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, you will be saved.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son, whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
